2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate.

The lock actuators are not hard to replace they are inside the door. The automatic door locks do not work. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time. The power door locks dont work at all i have to use my key.

Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. This is due to the battery dieing. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this. I have a 2000 f 150 and the power locks are not working properly.

Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery. If this occurs you need to troubleshoot the power door locks and keyless entry remote on the ford vehicle. I just inherited my fathers 2000 ford f150. The electric part of the locks do not work.

The door panel will need to be removed. I am buying a 2000 ford f150 4x4 with electric locks. Power door lock repair i just did this repair on my 2001 f350 powerstroke 7 3l dually 4 door. Its a real hassel.

Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way.
