2005 Bmw X5 Door Locks Not Working

I have a 2005 x5 3 0 the drivers door lock stopped popping up and down with the central locking and key fob.

The modern conveniences of vehicles are often lost upon drivers today. 2004 e53 bmw x5. All other doors windows locks work except drivers door. But the power door lock button inside does t open or close the locks. Replaced the door handle mechanism inside the door.

The mechanic used his diagnostic gadget which showed a problem with the drivers door.
