Assembly everything back together and plug it back into the driver side.

08 tahoe every other door works fine. I have an 03 tahoe and the same happened to me my dvd player wouldnt turn off after opening the door foot pedal adjust buttons or my mirror turn signal. Typically will go on for 3 4 days then suddenly works again. Clean the upper circuit board with light acohol wipe.

The driver lock has completely quit and the other 3 doors work randomly. The auto doo locks do not work fo rom the drivers side but do work form passenger side and key fob. Opening the door and closing bad connection or turning the key off and on as to reset does not seem to change it. Dude trust me dont go spending money until you check this.

2008 silverado hd 2500 the driver side door control panel randomly does not work. First pull your panel and see if the grey latch is fastened to the door on the harness. The controls on the drivers side door panel do not work except for passenger window. Its like the answered by a verified chevy mechanic.

I don t know if its the switch or motor i don t. All of the controls on the drivers door have stopped working. 5 use a hand dryer about 1ft away to dry the board. Look for brownish spots.

All other windows work from the individaul controls. The driver window both passenger windows will not roll down from the drivers side. My passenger side mirror quit working several months ago and now the driver s side doesn t work either. That will answer your problem on the switch.

Well if it s just your driver window that s not working on the switch then you need to take the door panel off of the door unplug the window motor and check for voltage at the plug. They just don t do anything when you try to control them with the electric buttons. Very frustrating have always owned chevy but with oil cunsumption and this problem it will probably my last one. Even if i don t drive it and check it each of the 3 4 days.

Get the four screws out and slowly ply open the master switch. Have searched prices of new locks and probably will repair myself. Recently my driver door lock has started to not work when i unlock truck with my keyless remote. All other doors are ok but the driver door doesn t unlock half of the time.

Remove the master switch from the driver door side panel. Door locks on 3 of 4 doors 2009 tahoe 78000 miles. Disappointed to say the least. 2003 suburban liftgate unlocks with remote or drivers door control.

If the truck sits for a period of time hour or longer it seems to work but not always.
